My research interests are in the areas of Human-Computer Interaction and Natural Language Processing. I'm working with Prof. Tim Bickmore in the Relational Agents Group. Relational agents are computer agents designed to form a long-term social relationship with a user. Currently, we are building and studying agents for healthcare applications, including behavior change (such as exercise or diet counseling) and health education.
